About Monique Moreau:

Monique Moreau is an autistic, Native American (Cree/Saulteaux) stand-up comedian, writer, actress, and blindness/low-vision consultant based in Los Angeles, CA. Born and raised in Red Deer, Alberta she is a graduate of Red Deer Polytechnic, the University of British Columbia, and Vancouver Film School in classical piano and film production.

She has performed stand-up and music across Canada, the USA, the UK, and Australia, including appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe, Melbourne Comedy Festival, and San Francisco Sketchfest.

In Los Angeles, she is a regular at the Largo at the Coronet, where she has opened for Nick Kroll, Sarah Cooper, Ron Funches, Joe Mande and Anthony Jeselnik. Her credits also include The Improv Hollywood, Westside Comedy Theater, The Lincoln Lodge in Chicago, Don’t Tells, and countless alt-comedy shows throughout North America.

As a writer and performer, Monique’s work spans stage and screen. She appeared on FOX’s animated series The Great North and has written for children’s television and digital series, including Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go, its companion web series, and American Girl Doll..
